Description & Requirements

Senior Professional Services Consultant

The Job:

The Professional Services Consultant takes the leadership role in consulting engagements and assumes responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables. Drives implementation deliverables and assists the Project Manager with organizing and controlling tasks within the work plan. Takes a leadership position on project teams, engagements, and respective consulting practices. Works with clients on an independent basis for engagements with little supervision.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform training and knowledge sharing with peers.
  • Perform customer core team training.
  • Establish solid working relationships throughout Epicor and Customer organizations.
  • Keep up on skills/certifications for new or enhanced products.
  • Obtain a certain level of certification in an area outside of core competency.
  • Coach and mentor PS Consultants, ensuring consistent and high service delivery standards.
  • Ensure all responsibility deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Possess accurate estimating skills for various project tasks.
  • Interact with members of cross-functional teams.
  • Assist the Project Manager in determining direction, timelines, schedules, and activities for an area of the project.

You Bring (Most) of This!:
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.
  • Ongoing technical certifications to keep up with the industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge across industry verticals
  • Customer-centric, results-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently.
  • Project management skills and strong technical background are required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources, and monitor the performance of project tasks
  • 3+ years of experience consulting with Epicor ERP / Kinetic software is required
  • Ability to meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time
  • Expertise in all core modules of the software, with an emphasis on the financial modules.
  • Manufacturing (Cost) Accounting experience preferred
  • Estimated travel is to be 25%-40%
  • 5+ years of consulting experience preferred
