We are now looking for a FIFA 26 Inc. Travel Manager - United States that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.
These are your key tasks:
•    Being responsible of travel arrangements for all FIFA constituent groups, including commercial flights, private jets, accommodation, ground transport, VIP airport services, visa/entry & health matters and any extraordinary services
•    Project Management for any FIFA Corporate Events, Tournaments (tier 1 and tier 2) and other occasions incl. definition of booking processes for international travel, contract negotiations, budgeting, and support to local entity in regard to domestic flight and entry/visa strategies
•    Ensure service excellence through risk analysis, quality strategies, knowledge sharing and 24/7 reachability: being the main point of contact to the FIFA Travel regional office, working in close co-operation with related functional areas, stakeholders and service providers.
•    Organize and oversee all worldwide travel arrangements and operations, such as flights, accommodation, airport services and ground transport to the totality of FIFA client groups, incl. FIFA VIP Stakeholders and their travel companions/guests to the highest quality standards
•    Manage travel projects for FIFA Tournaments and Events (tier 1 and tier 2) and other occasions incl. the lead of the event group and coordination of work between the project team (budgeting, staffing plan, international travel concepts, PMA flight strategy, risks & issues assessments)
•    Provide consultancy and knowledge transfer within FIFA departments, Local Organizing Committees and Local Entities
•    Act as high-level specialist for Senior management on all matters related to travel, incl. services proposals, risk analysis and management, budgeting, and troubleshooting
 
 
The specific competencies we require for this position are:
•    Completed (business) travel agency education or business education with training in the travel industry 
•    Further education in tourism, event or general management
•    Fluency in English, any other FIFA language (French or Spanish) is an asset
•    Excellent skills in GDS, preferably Amadeus (reservations, ticketing, fare rules, rebooking, are a must)
•    Project Management / proficient 
•    Event Management / proficient 
•    At least 5 years of experience in the business travel industry 
•    At least 3 years in a similar position in an international organisation
•    Experience with VIP clients and knowledge in private jet operations 
•    Project and event management experience
•    Practical commercial experience (with distinguished geographical knowledge)
