Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-timeFabricator/Installerbased in ourBaldwin Park, CAoffice. The Fabricator/Installer is responsible for performing skilled carpentry, welding, installation, fabrication and repairs in the construction of the interior of the In-N-Out Burger restaurants. The role reports to the Fabricator Installer Supervisor.

General Responsibilities
  • Complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous work environment
  • Reports and travels daily to the construction project site
  • Measure, cut, prep, assemble and install various substrates in the new store from roughing stage up to preparation for inspections and the new store opening
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time
  • Use, clean and maintain various equipment and tools
  • Perform skilled carpentry, welding, installations, fabrications, modifications, repairs and other related functions to ensure requirements and specifications are met
  • Administrative duties in the shop, such as stocking inventory, maintaining phone contacts, and completing assigned paperwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams and schematics to determine appropriate welding, fabrication, carpentry and related processes

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • On-call: Be available to assist on emergency store calls
  • Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm
  • Full-time, Non-Exempt
  • Travel:Approximately 80% of time will be spent in the field traveling and being on project sitesin the states where In-N-Out Burger operates: CA, NV, AZ, TX, UT, OR and CO
  • Office location: Baldwin Park, CA

  • Travel: Requires out of town and out of state travel 1 week at a time; will stay overnight in a hotel for the week. Will require travel over the weekend sometimes too.
  • Pay Range is $27.00-$29.00 per hour The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management; Team player
  • CA driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications
  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • Quick Service Restaurant or Restaurant experience preferred
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and strong human relations skills
  • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Construction or related fields
  • Experience reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions
  • Communication and project management skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Fabrication, technical, and hands-on training
  • Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications
  • Strong problem solver; be able to resolve on-site issues and emergencies
