Key Responsibilities of the Position
Performs assigned assembly, fabrication or other operations on a required production basis.

Key Deliverables of the Position

• Performs set up and fabrication of parts utilizing equipment such as drill presses, punch presses, shearing equipment, rolling and grinding equipment
• Maintains work station in a clean and safe manner.
• Utilizes safety equipment and maintains machine safety guarding in place as required when operating.
• Must be able to perform all duties equally and other duties may be assigned.
• Assembles components by fastening parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners utilizing small manual and pneumatic hand tools, soldering equipment, and riveting tools.
• Ensures that the key characteristics of assemblies and components conform to all required specifications which are accessible at each work station.
• Inspects all fabricated parts and tests all assemblies, fabricated parts, and welds per specifications utilizing required testing equipment.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Technical Competencies

• Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
• Fabricator with 3 years’ production welding experience
• Attention to detail critical
• Ability to read and interpret basic blue prints.
