Position Description
We are seeking an energetic, results-oriented, experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team. Our Recruiter will leverage creative and effective talent acquisition strategies to source, attract, engage, and hire top talent while providing the highest level of service excellence to both hiring managers and candidates.
The Recruiter will be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a high volume of recruitment activities who has a passion for finding top talent for Zayo.
  • We're open to this role working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver, CO office.
  • Please note: this is a Contract position with the potential to move to a full-time benefits/bonus eligible position in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting processes and recruiting KPI’s
  • Build and maintain a deep knowledge of the business and your client group
  • Partner with HR, business leaders and hiring managers to elevate visibility of diverse talent
  • Consult with and guide Hiring Managers through the recruitment process and provide the appropriate tools when needed
  • Facilitate and execute the full life-cycle recruitment process to hire Zayo employees
  • Serve as a Talent Advisor for Zayo with a focus on being a strategic partner with leadership, hiring managers, HR Business Partners while ensuring alignment with Zayo's overall goals and objectives
  • Engage and manage any external agency relationships and/or industry-specific organizations involved in supporting your client group
  • Drive recruiting activities to ensure a strong pool of qualified and diverse candidates for current and future openings
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to create effective job descriptions; post to internal and external job boards
  • Manage change with an ability to quickly course correct to meet the business needs
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, plans and processes to identify active and passive candidates, and attract the best people in the competitive market for talent
  • Screen and provide the best qualified candidates to Hiring Managers
Qualifications
  • Proficiency with G Suite, Salesforce, Workday (advantageous)
  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
  • Experience with behavioral/competency based interviewing and DOL requirements for interview questions
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability and willingness to travel to support national recruiting/sourcing requirements (minimal travel)
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and be able to complete time-sensitive assignments with composure and perseverance
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years' recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment or as an external recruiter (a blend of agency and corporate experience is a plus)
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to ensure accurate and effective conveyance of information
  • Prior experience within the telecommunication industry, preferred
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience recruiting across all areas of the business - experience supporting Sales, Operations, and Product & Technology functions is a plus
  • Experience sourcing active and passive candidates with a focus on the candidate experience and track recording for finding top talent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
