Experience Producer / Project Manager

Future Colossal, an award-winning innovation lab for experiential technologies in advertising, entertainment, and art, is seeking an Experience Producer / Project Manager.

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting unique and memorable experiences for our clients. The Producer responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on-time and on-budget and has met all objectives. Responsibilities include managing all creative elements, technical elements, user experience, internal and client communication. As we work across many new technologies and execution types for clients across all industries, this is a position for someone who enjoys a challenging role that widely varies from day to day, and shares in our excitement for working on innovative campaigns and products.

By exploring the boundaries of technology and design, we create immersive spaces that interact with the viewer. Our team is comprised of designers, creative technologists, hardware fabricators, and coders with expertise ranging from marketing to architecture to installation art. We pull off the extraordinary, always using the latest technologies to create press-worthy interactions where brands can build relationships with consumers across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure successful completion of projects on time and within budget - projects range from software development to experiential tours to fabrications
• Lead creative brainstorming sessions and collaborate with designers, technologists, and fabricators to develop cutting-edge experiential concepts
• Create a motivational, transparent, collaborative, fun, and trustful environment where teams can work efficiently and deliver high-quality products quickly
• Oversee project budgeting and financial tracking, including managing expenses and invoicing clients
• Develop comprehensive project plans, requirements, budgets, and timelines, and oversee project execution from ideation to completion
• Ensure quality control of all deliverables, ensuring work meets or exceeds the expectations of clients and project stakeholders
• Support projects through completion, which could sometimes require travel to install locations, including on some weekends and holidays, depending on project schedule
• Build and manage relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure project success
• Be proactive about anticipating opportunities and risks, addressing them strategically without compromising project goals
• Remain up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Future Colossal remains at the forefront of experiential marketing and advertising

Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to communicate assertively with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding (or strong interest in) of the creative technology and experiential advertising disciplines, industry-standard fabrication and technology processes, including AV systems, projection mapping, robotics, AI, XR, and interactive technologies
• Familiarity with standard project management methods and tools, including the Microsoft Suite
• 5+ years of hands-on production, project, or product management experience in digital production, software development, engineering, agency or brand campaigns, or experiential or event management
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, working in a fast-paced environment or tight deadlines

Compensation range is $75k-$90k annual salary, based on relevant experience in role and industry.
