Job Description
Job Summary


Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support for the CEO and Executive team to ensure they can efficiently accomplish the goals and initiatives of the organization. This includes filtering and attending to the day-today functions so that the CEO can focus on high-level leadership and strategy functions. The Executive Assistant serves as the CEO’s liaison to Witham’s Board of Trustees. This position also provides oversight of the Administrative Assistants who provide support to the Executive Team.


Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements


  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and the community
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Minimum three to five years experience of administrative support at the executive level.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
