In this role, you'll be a crucial part of our Specialty Pharmacy Services, working closely with pharmacists and the Customer Care Supervisor to ensure every patient receives top-notch care and support.
What You'll Do To Make a Difference
Engage with patients and healthcare professionals via inbound and triaged calls, providing exceptional support for all specialty pharmacy needs.
Enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure their records are comprehensive and up-to-date, including essential patient information like demographics, allergies, medical history, and payer details.
Reach out to new and existing patients, making connections that matter and assisting with insurance queries.
Collaborate with Patient Care Assistants I and prescribers, offering insights and assistance through various communication channels.
Your Impactful Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent GED, with a preference for college or technical college experience.
1-2 years of customer service experience, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional care and support.
Familiarity with the pharmacy realm, ideally backed by at least 1 year of pharmacy experience.
Exposure to healthcare settings or the insurance industry, showing your grasp of insurance terms and medical language.
