Event Sales Specialist
Chicken N Pickle, the hottest new entertainment concept in town, is looking for an Event Sales Specialist. The Event Sales Specialist is a dual role responsible for training the Event Sales and Event Operation teams as well as being the point of contact for partnership events. As the trainer for all things events, the Event Sales Specialist will develop and maintain the training curriculum for all roles tied to events from the sales team to execution teams. As the point of contact for partnership events, the Event Sales Specialist will work closely with our Partnership team and their clients to ensure we are procuring events that are executable and set up for success. This role will act as the liaison between the Partnership team and their clients and the onsite events team.
Event Sales Specialist General Responsibilities:

Event Sales Specialist Training Responsibilities:
- Train Event Operations team members upon new store openings on what to expect from the Sales Team including reading BEOs, room set-up and closing out event tabs while running events that create lasting memories for our guests
- Train the Event Sales Team upon new store openings on our tools and processes
- Monitor software or process updates and maintain training curriculum appropriately
- Ensure new store teams properly continue to execute the private events process post store opening
- Receive feedback on the training effectiveness and adjust the program accordingly
- Develop a training program to maximize guest experience and ensure effective customer communication, event planning, and execution
- Maintain the documented training program and continually look for ways to improve or streamline processes while building an easy to execute training program
Event Sales Specialist Partnership Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact for the Partnership team and their clients
- Act as the point of escalation for your events including managing difficult calls or issues, diffusing angry guests, or handling issues that cannot be fielded by the onsite team
- Foster repeat business with these groups
- Remain in contact with onsite staff to ensure guests are having a superior experience, events are organized and successful and address any concern
- Work with these groups to ensure we are planning events for their groups that utilize best practices and are easily executed on our properties while providing a great experience for their groups
- Help the onsite team with larger events as needed

Key Qualifications:
- Decisiveness and attention to detail
- Proficiency with necessary technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.
- Working evenings, weekends and holidays may be required for this position, as well as assisting in the restaurant on an as-needed basis
- Minimum five (5) years direct related work experience required
- Knowledge of management principles and familiarity with company products, services, and policies
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong coaching and leadership skill, ability to motivate employees
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to travel up to 40%, will include overnight travel to other locations
- Minimum three (3) years experience in customer care environment required
