About the Role:


Fever is looking for a General Manager to lead and manage the operations of a large-scale, outdoor immersive experience in South Seattle between mid-November 2023 and mid-March 2024. This is a full-time, seasonal position.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Set up a coordinated system for the storage and handling of stock
  • Communicate and coordinate with venue staff and leadership daily
  • Stock management & ordering of supplies needed for the experience
  • Manage and report staff payroll
  • Plan and execute weatherization plans
  • Develop a process for a smooth daily run of the experience as well as the continuous maintenance of the experience standards
  • Coordination of schedules of vendors and staff members, ambassador-level staff, staff manager, security, parking, and tech personnel within budget
  • Operational budget control
  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue
  • On-site management and operations of the experience, located in South Seattle
  • Handle any problems/ special requests with guests
  • Training all staff members and managing suppliers if needed
  • Weekly reporting on daily issues to management
  • Working alongside Fever's Executive Producer and Production Manager to ensure the continued quality of the show for the entirety of the run
  • Handle guestlist and assist with guests check-in procedures
  • Liason between venue, partners and fever


Schedule & Pay:


The contract will be for 5 months, starting in late October and running to March 2024. The experience will be open four days a week from 6 pm-10 pm, with several weeks of seven days and holidays. The schedule could vary based on ticket sales.


Rate: Will be discussed during the interviewing process.


Required Skills:


  • You know how to plan your own time appropriately to maximize business performance
  • You are a strong leader used to engaging with the public and managing staff.
  • You are based in the Seattle area
  • You are highly motivated and with a high energy profile.
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have 3+ years of previous experience in a management position for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, or hospitality establishment with high foot traffic.
  • You are legally allowed to work in the US
  • You can work autonomously and at your initiative
