Job Description
Summary


Provide administrative support to payroll, benefits, leave of absence, and the HR support center. Responsible for indexing/scanning of all payroll documents.


Location: This role is onsite at 51 Clemson Road, Columbia, SC 29229.


Work Environment: The work hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM – 5 PM.


Description


What You'll Do:


  • Ensure that all documents received are documented in workflow database or document tracking logbook. Distribute documents to appropriate technicians.
  • Research employee tenure from monthly service award list. Print letters, assemble packages, process check requests and service award gifts. Maintain ongoing spreadsheet.
  • Index and scans all payroll documents.
  • Document and distributes manual checks to appropriate technicians. Prepares and distributes daily and monthly reports.
  • Assist employees/customers --- walk-ins, telephone, or written correspondence.
  • Perform administrative duties --- types, edits, updates forms/documents/procedures. Maintain departmental listings and binders.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies for the area. Distribute mail to departmental employees.
  • Document and distribute notice of deposits (NODs) and checks on a biweekly basis.


To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need


  • Required Work Experience: 1 Year Administrative/clerical experience
  • Required Software and tools: Microsoft Office
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent


Required Skills And Abilities


  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Good judgment skills. Effective customer service and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
