Job Description

At FREY Environmental, Inc. (FREY), we provide professional environmental consulting services throughout the state of California to a variety of clients including single commercial/industrial property owners to fortune 500 companies. FREY is actively seeking a full time mid-level geologist, environmental scientist, or civil/environmental engineer. We are seeking candidates with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience. The position is based in Newport Beach, California.


Responsibilities:


  • Project management tasks including managing budgets, adhering to project schedules, and correspondence with the project team and client
  • Remedial technology design and analysis
  • Interfacing with regulatory agencies throughout the state of California
  • Oversight of field-based tasks including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigation and remediation projects
  • Technical report writing including but not limited to drafting Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports, Phase II Environmental Site Investigation (ESI) reports, Remedial Action Work Plans, and proposals


Required Skills:


  • Ability to follow a schedule and meet deadlines
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with project team about field and office tasks
  • 40 hour HAZWOPER (not required)
  • Bachelors degree in geology, environmental science, or a related engineering field
