The Entry Level IT Help Desk provides level one technical support to users experiencing hardware or software issues, assigns support tickets to IT Support, and serves as the primary conduit for Help Desk calls and tickets in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as “One Professional Team.”

Pay Rate: $16.81 - $24.09 per hour
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Sets up and updates all company iPads
  • Answers all Help Desk calls
  • Assists Communication Systems Support Specialist as needed
  • Tracks computer requests and assigns to available technicians
  • Responsible for recycling
  • Makes all DBS user changes and additions
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Addresses any password resets
  • Tracks all iPad assets
  • Tracks all PC assets
  • Responsible for customer postal accounts
  • Distributes daily reports
  • Responsible for all tape movement
  • Responsible for quality control audit of PC’s going out

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years customer service experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Safety & Product Knowledge
  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

Work Environment:

  • Indoors
  • Noise: Quiet
