We are looking for a driven and curious Structural Engineer to support our Built Environment team.

As a key member of our Virginia Beach office, you’ll get to grow your skills and join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery designing state of the art Structures. You’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-discipline design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design and develop structural details with minimum supervision
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience using STADD or STRUDL models for complex structures
  • Understanding soil structure interaction and modeling using Plaxis or FLAC
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • A 3.0 GPA
  • Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred
  • Years of experience 0-2 years related to the design of underground structures
