Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

May have Vacation Student/ Internship experience in an engineering environment.

Technical and practical process engineering skills.

Developing skills in process engineering specific software.

Some skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Computer experience in AutoCAD (Civil3D) and ArcGIS.

Street design and other public improvement experience.

Experience working with governmental agencies and permitting entities.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Additional computer experience, particularly in computer modeling related to sanitary sewer, water, and storm sewer systems.

Knowledge of civil engineering standards.

Good knowledge of engineering principles and ability to apply them in an industry context.

Terrain and relevant hazards and geological processes

The various soil and rock types expected beneath the seabed

Spatial mapping of the subsurface soil layers

Mechanical properties of the various soils beneath the seabed

Identification of other ground-related hazards i.e. shallow gas and

Strong oral and written communication skills;

Analytical and problem solving capabilities;

0-2 years’ experience in the oil and gas pipeline, or comparable, industry;

I.T. / FE Certification preferred, but not required;

Working in a project team to develop project scopes of work and engineering design basis documentation;

Conducting field reviews of existing facilities to prepare as-built documentation and greenfield sites to gather design information, as necessary;

BS in Computer Science or a related field

Reading, writing and debugging multi-threaded code

Proficiency in Java, Rust or Python.

0-3 years of experience in Building Enclosure design

Experience in 3D modeling/drafting including Grasshopper, BIM, etc.

Programming experience a strong plus

Experience in Structural and/or Environmental analysis

Masters degree in Architecturutal Engineering or Architecture

Demonstrated interest in Building Enclosure design

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude

Positive attitude, very strong interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project timelines

OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus

Sound understanding of soil, groundwater, and waste investigation and remediation strategies

Project management, surveying/field work, and/or construction experience.

Work with project management and engineering leadership to manage project risk.

Prepare detailed design documents using a variety of software tools including AutoCAD, GIS systems, and client-specific enterprise asset management platforms.

Independently manage time and schedule to achieve project milestones.

Prepare reports and studies meeting client requirements that present technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Assist Project Managers with preparing proposals, work plans, cost estimates, memorandums, letters, tables, figures and presentations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively express technical information to multiple audiences including subcontractors, field staff, clients, colleagues, etc.

Salary Range: $129,000-$194,000 based on experience
