Job Description
    Netflix runs one of the largest and most sophisticated Amazon Web Services environments in the world. We operate our streaming service control plane along with studio and corporate IT infrastructure on AWS at a massive scale. Operating in the public cloud has unlocked tremendous capabilities for innovation and agility.

    The Cloud Infrastructure Security team at Netflix is responsible for securing our public cloud environments and protecting our members, partners, employees, and intellectual property. We provide cloud security subject matter expertise, build scalable risk mitigation solutions and collaborate cross functionally to align cloud security investments with business needs.     We are looking for a strong engineering leader for this team to enable our mission. You will be responsible for leading and cultivating a world class team of security and software engineers. You will help the team navigate Netflix business evolution by establishing strong organizational relationships and connecting business context to security needs.

    Desired background

    • You are experienced in building and managing cross functional relationships inside and outside the company.
    • You have a strong technical background in security for large-scale public cloud deployments (AWS experience is a plus).
    • You are an empathetic leader who cultivates a culture of psychological safety and inclusivity where team members with diverse backgrounds can do their best work.
    • You have experience translating business context to security program needs and prioritizing investments based on risk.
    • You have experience hiring, coaching and cultivating an excellent team.
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
