Job Summary And Qualifications

• This is a Full Time Day Shift position, Monday - Friday, 8 hours . Some call may be required on the weekends *

The Employee Health Registered Nurse is responsible for the administration of pre-employment screenings, annual Employee Health evaluations (fit tests, TB tests, medical questionnaires), tracking/trending of injuries, assisting with getting employees on light duty & LOA back to work, tracking/trending/reporting exposures, promotion and training for lift/transfer equipment, and assuring compliance with regulatory bodies for immunizations, etc. They will also assist employees and managers with "for cause" drug testing, and assist with community health fairs as needed. As a member of the Medical City McKinney team, the employee makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred
• At least 2 years experience in an acute care setting required
• Some flexibility with work hours required
• At least 1 year experience in Employee Health as an occupational health nurse or experience as a school nurse required
• Current State of TX nursing license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
