Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, (Sr. OHN) within the Johnson & Johnson Global Health Services organization. The position will be based in Titusville, NJ.

The Senior Occupational Health Nurse will be part of an integrated cross functional health and wellness team for Titusville-based employees and the Janssen field sales employees. Working alongside the Site Lead, Senior Coordinator, Nurse Practitioner, EAP and Wellness staff, the team will be responsible for the provision of Global Health services including Occupational Medicine and Wellness & Health Promotion programs. Services are provided under the mentorship or supervision of the Site Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in the Employee Development Program process. Attends continuing education programs.
- Provides various preventive health evaluations and tests in accordance with Global Health Services policies and protocols.
- Participates in the development of Site Business plans supporting key Global Health initiatives.
- Maintains accurate clinical records, utilizing approved medical, nursing and statistical formats including use of an Electronic Medical Record.
- Provides clinical healthcare services including: Nursing care for Injuries & illnesses which includes responding to onsite medical emergencies, Case Management of Occupational Injuries and Illness, Medical Surveillance examination and general health education and coaching.
- Acquires knowledge of the occupational hazards and treatment for exposures for assigned location.
- Responsible for compliance associated with occupational health including compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and recordkeeping and J&J Global Health standards.
- Drives improved health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and well-being.
- Partners with other members of the Global Health team as well as Human Resources, Safety and management partners to encourage an integrated team approach to solving problems.
- Maintains and cultivates a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Phlebotomy skills required.
- Working knowledge of regulatory areas; i.e.; ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, STD/LTD is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Outstanding leadership skills required; ability to gain trust and influence at all levels; collaborative.
- Experience with Electronic medical Records (EMR), Outlook, and Microsoft Excel is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional nurse with 2 years of Occupational Health Nursing.
- Case Management experience is required.
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state of New Jersey is required.
- Current CPR/AED certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and people skills including the ability to motivate, cooperate and work effectively with others, and build partnerships with various departments.
Preferred:
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferred.
Other:
- Up to 20% in-State travel may be required.

The base pay range for this position is $73,000- $117,300. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
