Job Description

LSG Sky Chefs, the world's largest airline catering company, is seeking an exceptional Management-level candidate specialized in employee engagement and retention to join our dynamic team. We connect food and people, everywhere, producing 628 million airline meals a year and expanding our presence in convenience retail operations and food subscription services.


As the Employee Experience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and positive environment for our employees. This highly visible position will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive program focused on enhancing the employee experience during onboarding and throughout their careers at LSG. Your voice will be instrumental in conveying employee concerns and insights to Field Operations and Human Resources.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly meetings with new hires to evaluate their orientation and training experiences, address questions, and resolve concerns.
  • Foster successful partnerships with local operations leaders and corporate partners to integrate employee experience awareness into their processes, communications, and strategies.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports to senior leaders, highlighting engagement trends, identifying issues, and recommending training needs, among other valuable insights.
  • Administer and report on the weekly Employee Engagement scorecard, tracking new hires' engagement levels and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to launch and support the "Buddy" new hire onboarding program in their departments, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • Lead the weekly Employee Experience Internal Feedback Loop (IFBL) meeting, where you will discuss new hire orientation evaluations, provide program updates, and exchange feedback and ideas with leadership.
  • Act as a supportive point of contact for newly hired employees, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Design and execute effective initiatives to improve program outcomes and increase engagement, such as conducting focus groups and surveys.


Requirements:

  • Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK A VARIED SCHEDULE AND POSITION IS 100% ONSITE
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in an HR role focused on metrics, with a proven track record in improving turnover, employee engagement, and processes.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 1 year dedicated to designing onboarding, employee development, and retention programs.
  • Thrives in a people-oriented environment and demonstrates a collaborative leadership style across all levels of the organization.
