Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Employee Coordinator


DEPARTMENT: People Operations


NATURE OF POSITION: The Employee Coordinator is an integral member of The Clinic’s People Operations Department. This position is primarily responsible for Credentialing and Privileging matters, employee benefit management, and student engagement.


CLASSIFICATION: Non- Exempt


SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None


SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of People Operations


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • 1-5 years’ experience with Credentialing/Privileging and Benefits Management, preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or a related field, preferred.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation, verbal and written communication, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and continually reassess to manage tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist in monthly benefit audits.
  • Maintains communication with the providers regarding students.
  • Manages school contacts for the student engagement program.
  • Assists in ensuring providers are properly verified for NHSC.
  • Assists with the HRSA (Health Resource and Service Administration) NHSC (National Health Service Corp) and related loan repayment program(s).
  • Maintains up-to-date credentialing and privileging files for LIP, non-LIPs, and other clinical staff in compliance with HRSA, FTCA, and TJC requirements.
  • Communicate with employees regarding benefit plans.
  • Ensures accuracy of credentialing files by tracking the expiration of licenses and certifications.
  • Remains abreast of the requirements for credentialing and privileging for COFMC.
  • Assists in maintaining HRSA NHSC data site dashboard; adding new locations and updating information as needed.
  • Assists in implementation of employee benefit programs.
  • Maintains contractor credentialing attestations.
  • Assist in day-to-day leave administration.
  • Assists in planning and implementing open enrollment.
  • Participates, as requested, in HRSA, FTCA, TJC, and other applicable audits/surveys.
  • Maintains and updates the student rotation calendar and student information. Maintains up to date student files in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Completes all clinical credentialing and privileging activities for COFMC.
  • Coordinating approval from the Credentialing Committee for all licensed clinical staff of COFMC.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinates and maintains COFMC’s student engagement program.
  • Ensures the students receive appropriate onboarding.
  • Assist in the day-to-day department duties.
