Job Description
As the Email Marketing Manager at The Sill, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing our email marketing efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy that increases customer lifetime value, retention, and brand engagement.

Role Description:
As the Email Marketing Manager, your main responsibility will be to create and execute a comprehensive acquisition and retention marketing strategy utilizing email and SMS flows as your primary tool. You will work to communicate The Sill's brand value proposition, product assortment, and purchase occasions effectively to customers. Your goal is to drive conversion as well as customers back to The Sill, increase repeat purchase rate, and ultimately, customer loyalty.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Assist with email campaigns focused on customer acquisition to understand and impact the full funnel customer experience.
  • Build customer engagement with relevant, timely, and targeted communications that are enriched by the brand's value proposition
  • Design a comprehensive email marketing strategy that increases customer lifetime value, retention, and brand engagement
  • Maintain and report on retention performance dashboards
  • Analyze programs for churn, engagement, LTV, and repeat purchase rate to help inform overall program strategy; share insights with cross functional stakeholders
  • Develop segmentation strategies based on data that enhance how we connect with customers
To do this, you will:
  • Create and execute The Sill's email marketing strategy
  • Maintain a quarterly calendar detailing communications programmed across email, SMS that supports business needs balancing brand initiatives, product news, promotions, company announcements, educational content, local retail and community events
  • Partner with Engineering to scope projects such as onsite data capture and on-site consumer engagement tools that guide consumers through the consideration set and to purchase
  • Identify A/B testing opportunities for our email template and content strategy; optimize based off of results
Requirements
  • Eye for design and a natural interest in writing
  • Comfortable with self-direction and ambiguity, as well as being adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibility as necessary
  • BS in Marketing, Communications, or related is preferred
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics, Business Intelligence Tools, Email Creation/HTML, and Klaviyo
  • 3-5 years of experience in a D2C performance-based marketing role, including campaign strategy/development, messaging, customer segmentation, lifecycle optimization, deliverability, and AB/multivariate experience
  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills
