Elementary Teacher Aide (K-3 Non-Instructional)

General Purpose: The Elementary Teacher Aide will provide general assistance and support to teachers and administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regularly assist with student health, including administration of first aid
• Provides support to homeroom teachers to include assigned clerical duties, grading, making copies, filing papers, changing bulletin boards, etc.
• Effectively interact with students in such areas as problem solving, conflict resolution, self-discipline, etc. during non-class time. Supervise and support students in non-instructional areas such as student lunch programs, car line duty, crossing guard duty, actively monitoring recess, and transitions between classes and buildings
• May serve in a substitute role when necessary Support the school’s mission through fidelity to policies and practices
• Support school operations
• Work cooperatively with school staff and administration

Other Duties and Responsibilities: As needed or assigned.

Minimum Requirements: High School diploma
