Role: Electrical Engineering Graduate/Technician

Located: Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $dep on exp plus benefits

Client

Our client is a well-established, growing battery business, who are transforming the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platforms for electric mobility, aerospace, and stationary power.

Due to considerable growth and new exciting projects, they require an Engineering Technician to troubleshoot, resolve issues and perform maintenance on the R&D and pilot line equipment whilst supporting process development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair various types of machinery and equipment
• Maintain component inventories and records of equipment calibration certificates
• Test and collect data to create test reports and process test data
• Support the build repairing and modification of PCBs and breadboard designs
• Troubleshoot complex circuit design to component level

Requirements

The successful candidate is required to have experience of soldering surace mount evices, including chip comonents and fine pitch IC chips, PCB reqork and testing methods and a famiarity with PCB rework and testing methods.

This person must be familiary with PCBA manufacturing methods and processes and demonstrate the ability and passion for mechanical design, strong problem solving skills and proficiency in Orcad or similar.
