Trane Technologies is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Leader for our Residential HVAC Parts & Supply business! This position has strategic oversight of all Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities within the SBU, including manufacturing, distribution, and parts & supply stores/sales throughout North America. This position can be REMOTE, near any of our plants or offices, and requires up to 50% travel as needed. Locations include but are not limited to: Atlanta, GA; Vidalia, GA; Charlotte, NC; Tyler, TX; Dallas, TX; Trenton, NJ; Bridgeton, MO (St. Louis).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with manufacturing locations and service locations to create specific EHS plans to improve overall EHS performance.
  • Support operational and service leadership team in identifying priorities, objectives, and targets to align the SBU with corporate strategies and in developing a strong EHS culture.
  • Responsible for overall EHS performance across the Residential HVAC business unit including, injury reduction, improving compliance programs, waste, water and energy reductions.
  • Design, develop and lead the implementation of programs and practices that reduces hazards and create a safe work environment, collaborate globally with SBU EHS peers to implement best practices on a global basis.
  • Ensure integrity of EHS data and reporting for the SBU.
  • Participate and partner with corporate EHS in the development of EHS management systems and BOS deployment.
  • Assist in identifying regional EHS training needs, develop and assist in implementing regional training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or advanced certification in a related EHS discipline preferred
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Minimum 4 year College/University Degree in a related discipline required
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Base Compensation Range is $175,000 - $225,000. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.

Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
