The Role


At Chapman, a Residential HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for in-home selling of all things HVAC, Indoor Air Quality, and Plumbing. A Sales Representative will run an average of two company-provided leads per day to assess a customer’s current home comfort system, design a new system, and provide solutions that fit the customer’s needs and budget. Residential HVAC Sales Representatives must be on-time, organized, thorough, and self-motivated. Prior sales experience is required, prior HVAC experience is not required, and training will be provided.


Pay Range: $60,000 - $135,000

Responsibilities

  • Create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing
  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
  • Competencies for Success
  • Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals
  • Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to the installation team


Proven track record in sales

  • Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable and what operational activities affect positive or negative results
  • A competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and the ability to make solid connections
  • Strong desire to be better at your job tomorrow than you are today
  • IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
