You'll play a critical role in providing education support and advocacy to youth in foster care. This is not your typical desk job; much of your work will take place in the community, where you'll directly engage with youth and caregivers. Whether you're offering tutoring, collaborating with school professionals, or advocating for the educational needs of youth, your efforts will help transform lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assess youth education needs using a variety of techniques, including conversations, surveys, and formal measurement tools.
Collaborate with youth and caregivers to identify education goals and develop personalized plans for success.
Advocate for youth needs in meetings and support caregivers in engaging with schools effectively.
Continuously evolve our educational support model to meet the unique needs of youth in foster care.
Requirements
