Editorial Specialist (Contract) Jobs

As an Editorial Specialist on temporary assignment, you will help share our unique position to forecast trends across fashion and beauty, food and drinks, lifestyle and more, as well as create unique shopping experiences that spark joy. We’re looking for a passionate curator and editorial whiz who is just as comfortable writing snappy headlines as they are about curating best-in-class content from the hidden corners of the internet.

Come help us tell our story—and help Pinners discover their next source of inspiration on Pinterest. This is a 6-month, 40-hour per week contract assignment based remotely in the US. Due to the global nature of the team, you may be expected to work East Coast hours.

What you’ll do:

• Schedule content using Pinterest’s editorial CMS and be responsible for regular maintenance and updates to content
• Draft copy across editorial channels, including headlines and short-form content
• Contribute and share ideas around trends both on- and off-platform to be leveraged in editorial spaces
• Curate highly engaging, brand-defining content for Pinterest across all verticals, especially women’s and men’s fashion, beauty, home decor, food and drinks, entertainment and DIY and crafts for a global audience
• Identify and engage with the best creators and publishers both on and off Pinterest

What we’re looking for:

• Passionate about Pinterest, with a solid understanding of our product
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating editorial judgment (content strategy, copywriting, professional blogging, journalism, marketing, etc.)
• A keen sense of trends across fashion and beauty, food and drinks, lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, etc.
• Proven ability to work well and be flexible in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple projects within tight deadlines
• Strong awareness of the broader creator ecosystem
• Ability to work with a high volume of content and navigate ambiguity
• Able to take constructive feedback and adapt work accordingly

About contract roles at Pinterest

• All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, Magnit or the agency partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
