Onward Search needs an e-Commerce Operations Specialist for a large retail client. The eCommerce Operations Specialist is pivotal in steering strategy and achieving business objectives. Within one of the business units, this role encompasses identifying avenues for enhancing the site experience and customer shopping, optimizing operational efficiency by leveraging technology and data, and taking charge of operational rhythm and performance evaluation. By fostering a genuinely customer-centric approach, you will play a significant role in bolstering sales, conversion rates, and customer contentment for the eCommerce business.

This is a 4-month contract opportunity with the potential to hire. Hybrid schedule with three days in-office located in Bentonville, AR.

As an eCommerce Operations Specialist you’ll:

• Regularly liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Monitor and oversee tickets to guarantee prompt and agreed-upon solutions, promptly escalating unresolved matters.
• Generate solution recommendations and outline implementation strategies for proposed remedies.
• Conduct thorough and ongoing analysis of partner operations to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to product and tool development enhancement.
• Delve deeply into business challenges, providing suggestions to internal stakeholders for improving customer experience, streamlining processes, and boosting traffic, sales, and conversion rates.
• Analyze trends to pinpoint the underlying causes of moderately to highly complex issues.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to investigate partner inquiries and challenges and provide recommendations for effective solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise in on-site metrics and strategies for driving meaningful change.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing partner operations and associated tools and systems.
• Offer secondary level and executive escalation support by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to pinpoint the roots of issues, devise solutions, and ensure resolution for issues of moderate to high complexity.

Skills & Experience needed:

• Demonstrates the capability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional setting and a readiness to undertake additional responsibilities beyond the primary role when required.
• Exhibits adaptability and a proactive approach within a dynamic environment characterized by multiple priorities.
• Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); proficiency in VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Offers expertise gained through involvement in a blend of retail and omni-channel operations, or experience in eCommerce logistics is an advantageous asset.
