Description
The Merchandising Coordinator/Specialist will work on a specific partner account to build new items and merchandise the web assortment in collaboration with the Merchandising team. This position demonstrates an understanding of basic e-commerce principles and has an interest in the digital landscape across selling platforms and marketing channels to build a competitive advantage. This ideal candidate is a forward thinker who shows initiative and can identify impactful insights and communicate these learnings, while possessing a can-do attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and keen attention to detail.
Core Responsibilities
- Digital Merchandising & Project Management.
- Establish and implement digital and visual merchandising strategies.
- Partner account team liaison between Merchandising, Quality Control, and Customer Experience departments
- Work collaboratively with Merchandising & Graphics team to build new items, develop content, and create product imagery for partner website across multiple product categories.
- Highly motivated and analytical self-starter.
- Assist the Account Managers with monthly promotional calendars and communicate it to internal teams.
- Utilize Syndigo Ecommerce Platform for product page enhancement.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Monitor partner site daily for product placement, inventory availability, promo verification, price tracking, and new product reviews.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the partner site merchandising of product landing pages, including all product content.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Quality Control, and Customer Experience teams to minimize return rates by tracking product reviews/customer feedback and identifying opportunities for product improvements.
- Project manage new item builds and launch products on site in a timely manner based on promotional timelines and inventory availability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Leadership teams to align business and marketing goals to partner site.
- Help prepare the Partner Account team for new item proposals at quarterly trade show events by tracking sample development with Merchandising.
- Optimize site content with trend-focused imagery, engaging video content, keywords, and top features to improve the online shopping experience.
- Analyze current portfolio for product gaps, closely monitor industry trends, and complete competitive landscape analysis.
- Leverage website analytics (Syndigo) to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, product content, brand page, and general online shopping experiences to help identify opportunities and wins.
Required Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail, and vigilant execution of follow-ups to project completion.
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.
- 3-5 years of digital merchandising, product content marketing, or relevant experience.
- Able to review data, draw conclusions, present solutions and take action on the next steps.
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
