About this role:
This position works with experienced professionals and team leaders in Talent Management, drives employee engagement, staffing, recruiting, and onboarding processes, and manages the review and analysis of talent management program needs, costs, and effectiveness. Collaborates with business leaders to create strategic sourcing and retention plans.

Create and drive creative recruiting solutions that help achieve long-term Inclusion and Diversity hiring goals at Carrier. Initiate innovative ways to attract early talent to our organization through enhancing local college campus, high school events, recruiting outreach through various organizations and social media platforms, and partnering with our internal Talent Acquisition team to develop diverse candidate pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan, and lead networking events, virtual panels and information sessions, career fairs, etc. to assist in building diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the visibility and attraction to Carrier careers for candidates in the earlier stages of their careers.
  • Designing, planning, management, and execution of Carrier’s intern, co-op, and early talent recruiting programs and strategies globally
  • Collaborate with the internal Talent Acquisition team on current and future job openings to provide support in a variety of areas within the recruiting process like building pipelines, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Create travel schedules, manage recruiting event calendar, set up and breakdown of events, and learn how to operate communication platforms (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Chat) and recruiting technology platforms (Handshake, Brazen, Simplicity, and others)
  • Partner with schools and Carrier leaders to drive sponsorship and commitment to the university program
  • Project manage external diversity organization fairs and conferences
  • Track data, review, and complete metrics, performing project management with an ID&E focus in mind
  • Management of corporate branding externally on-campus and diversity organizations
  • Build and lead strategic partnerships with Historically Black Colleges & Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions and Minority Serving Institutions, university career centers, faculty, student groups, professional organizations, and other groups that may help to execute early career recruiting and engagement events and build an early career talent pipeline
  • Budget management and forecasting

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 + years of experience in project management
  • 3 + years of experience in university and early career recruiting with a focus on HBCUs

  • Ability to influence at the executive level
