DSHS SCC Residential Rehabilitation Counselor 2 - SODO

We are seeking highly adaptable and self-motivated professionals to join our team at the King County Secure Community Transition Facility located in Seattle’s SODO business district. The Secure Community Transition Facility is a structured and closely supervised community residential program where residents continue treatment in a community setting. Our program treats people who are detained and/or civilly committed and assists them in addressing their sexual offending histories. We are looking for people who are interested in making a positive contribution to the lives of others.

As a Residential Rehabilitation Counselor, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to implement strategies and interventions that support the needs of our residents. Residential Rehabilitation Counselors are responsible for the daily support and monitoring of residents, escorting/chaperoning services in the community, health engagement opportunities, and fostering a safe and secure environment.

Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

We have multiple opportunities available! We encourage you to apply if you are looking for a place to grow your career.

  • King County duty stations receive 5% premium pay in addition to salary
  • Full-time and on-call available
  • Shift differential pay applies to evening/night shifts
  • Free ORCA cards are available for King employees

Note: SCC will hold a Q&A Session for interested applicants. This optional session will give applicants a chance to learn more about SCC and ask questions. All applicants who apply will receive a Teams link for the session. You may also contact Jeffrey Cutshaw at [email protected] for more information.
