Job Summary
The Document Control Clerk is responsible for the intake, review, management, and storage of documents, creation and management of raw material and finished product specifications, and assures proper quality of all programs, documents, and
This is a full-time, in-office position
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Obtain, organize, and record documentation for all materials in physical and digital format.
  • Continually looking for areas of improvement with current processes.
  • Assist in all other projects or tasks as assigned or deemed necessary for the QA Department.
  • Review supplier documents as well as analytical test results and data entry.
  • Assist as needed in the preparation of Customer and Regulatory audits.
  • Update and maintain the document and specification files for all products in physical and digital records.
  • Assist in the maintenance of QA files and records.
  • Securely store, destroy and disposal of sensitive documents to ensure confidentiality.
  • Create and maintain document filing and organizing systems that are both effective and efficient.
  • Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
Education & Experience
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Document Control in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing setting.
Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of industry standard practices and procedures.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office programs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
