Job Description

Overview /Objective
As a member of the NFL’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team, you will be a strategic, empathetic planner who works collaboratively to manage sensitive high-priority League and/or Club-specific initiatives and projects.
The DEI Senior Program Coordinator will develop, implement, and track various ongoing strategic initiatives and support the Chief Diversity Officer in maintaining the overall departmental calendar. You will also work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are being delivered timely and within budget.
As a Program Coordinator, you will work on a number of People, Culture and Community related projects such as DEI events (e.g., at Super Bowl and Draft), key pipeline development initiatives (e.g., Leadership Development Programs, DEI Trainings, DEI Data Collection, etc.), and heritage month celebrations (e.g., Hispanic Heritage Month, Pride, etc.).
This position will report to the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer but work consistently with all members of the DEI team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the tracking and processing of invoicing and payments
  • Proactively find ways to increase efficiency across the department
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, security, and timely maintenance of DEI data
  • Lead the management of the SOW and/or contract management process
  • Support the design of program materials and presentations
  • Spearhead the management of the bi-weekly team status report a meeting, ensuring all items are tracked and accurately updated
  • Create and establishing repeatable processes to manage ongoing documentation and best practices
  • Plan and organize program specifics, demonstrating experience in managing multiple programs with multiple various schedules and team members
  • Manage external vendors and partner meetings
  • Create and manage the overarching programming schedule of The Office of DEI and support the start-to-finish tracking of assigned programs
  • Support special projects, from tactical to strategic, as needed
  • Performs related duties as required
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects with multiple team members
  • Intermediate level of experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Projects and/or other Project Management tools
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • 4-6 years of professional project or program management experience within media, sports, entertainment, consulting firm and/or advertising agency. With proven experience managing projects related to events and/or cross-platform rollouts
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Experience working with leadership development programs is a plus
  • Effective communication skills, both via email and phone
  • Ability to think quickly and problem-solve resourcefully
  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Demonstrate organization, communication, and accuracy in all work assigned
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of experience with Canva or design software

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
