Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Leadership & Organizational Development, the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Program Manager will work with Sr. Leadership to implement, organize, and sustain (DEI) programs across all MJHS business entities. The role offers the chance to provide input on all the practices and programs that impact the employee experience across MJHS. As a member of the HR team, the role supports a holistic DE&I strategy designed to ensure all employees are equipped to bring their authentic selves to work, welcome diverse perspectives, facilitate equitable outcomes and to foster an environment of inclusivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Marketing team to draft DEI communications across internal and external channels, including key messaging and promotional material for DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Inspires and supports the employee diversity councils and affinity groups by coordinating activities and events, providing guidance on programming and best practices for maximizing impact, facilitating information sharing and collaboration between groups, and supporting development of new groups and inclusion initiatives.
  • Facilitates focus groups, pulse surveys, and other data collection methods to assess the impact of DEI programming on goals and objectives. Measures outcomes and reports back to Sr. Leadership on trends.
  • Stays abreast of current and best practice DEI trends and makes recommendations on how to enhance internal DEI policies and efforts based on these trends.
  • In partnership with HR functions this role ensures DEI best practices are built into each stage of the employee lifecycle including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, career planning, and talent management.
  • Partners with the Executive DEI Committee to recommend and implement system-wide DEI programs.
  • Project manages implementation of inclusion strategy across a variety of stakeholders and internal groups including communications, recruitment, early careers, learning and organizational development, human resources, management, and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree required. 5+ years of professional experience with one previous role in DEI highly preferred
