This role in summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager, Diversity is responsible for developing and leading the diversity sourcing strategy and designing recruiting approaches, relationships, and networks focused on attracting and engaging top diversity talent. They will lead the implementation of inclusion and diversity programs to ensure diversity in talent pipelines for experienced hire positions, remove bias in hiring processes, educate leaders and recruiters involved in the hiring process, and inform stakeholders of progress and results.


Your responsibilities will include

  • Report on demographics, trends, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) metrics to track progress around diversity hiring and provide recommendations for program changes
  • Recommend and help to embed best practices around regional partnerships that can be implemented across the regional recruiting team
  • Analyze the effectiveness of efforts and provide data-driven recommendations and solutions related to Diversity recruiting strategies
  • Identify and maintain relationships with Inclusion & Diversity professional organizations, recruitment agencies, talent marketplaces, and other platforms that engage diverse talent
  • Partner with the Recruitment Marketing Manager to develop social media strategies that position Whirlpool as an inclusive employer of choice
  • Plan and execute diversity recruitment events and programs focused on the recruitment and hiring of professionals, manager level and above
  • Oversees diversity recruitment strategy and sourcing campaigns, applying both a U.S. national and functional lens



Minimum requirements

  • 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience including 1+ years leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
  • Bachelor’s degree


Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience developing and utilizing talent and diversity analytics and reporting
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience planning and managing relationships and events for internal and external partners
  • Experience in Diversity Sourcing and Inclusive Hiring Practices
  • Experience engaging and building relationships with diversity organizations and knowledge of the diversity talent market
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute inclusion & diversity strategies that meet business needs
  • 2+ years leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs



Additional information


Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of three core days in the office and two days remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely
