OVERVIEW

General Mills Foodservice is on a journey to become a leader in digital with both distributors and retailers through improved content, data and capabilities to drive increased sales and ease of operator shopping experience. We are looking for a Distributor Ecommerce Strategist to work in our North American Foodservice operating unit.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Monitor performance and address issues with content scorecards as needed
  • Communicate and prioritize retailer and custom needs to internal stakeholders to translate work into the ecommerce roadmap
  • Lead with a continuous improvement mindset, identify and recommend ways to improve processes
  • Lead work to advance ecommerce partnerships with priority foodservice retailers and develop an influential role to identify opportunities for accelerated growth
  • Be an advocate to drive change and increased ecommerce knowledge across the segment
  • Partner with sales and marketing to integrate ecommerce activities and optimizations into retailer and custom plans
  • Manage day to day retailer site and content needs in close collaboration with content, data and D&T teams
  • Help build standards and best practices to advance the ecommerce capabilities within NAF
  • Drive toward creating and experimenting with new ecommerce content and capabilities
  • Help drive content improvements for industry-leading product detail pages and improve shoppability across retailer and custom digital experiences
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong ability to prioritize effectively
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast -paced and changing environment
  • Experience working in a matrixed/cross-functional organization
  • Ability to translate strategies into action
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Education: Bachelors degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working on an Agile team
  • Familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS), ecommerce site capabilities (search, navigation), project management tools, Product Information Management (PIM)
  • Experience partnering with retailers
