Distribution Center Manager, Mount Laurel, NJ


Do you have experience leading in a Distribution Center or Warehouse?


Have you worked with a WMS system?


We have an immediate, full-time opportunity for a Distribution Center Manager to oversee our Warehouses/DCs in Mount Laurel and Marlton, NJ. This position is a great opportunity for a hands-on, manager to make an immediate impact on the team through their leadership skills. This is a salaried Day Shift position, Monday through Friday . (occasional nights/weekends during inventory)


Essential Responsibilities


  • Work with offsite warehousing facilities to ensure proper handling, shipping and invoicing.
  • Work with common carriers to negotiate rates, tariffs and discounts.
  • Responsible for leading, training and performance of 12+ warehouse employees.
  • Inspect warehouse to ensure that it is properly maintained and adhere to proper warehouse safety and fire protocols.
  • Work with customer care and other DC’s as needed (freight quotes, shipping/receiving issues, etc.).
  • Review reports such as stock level, daily return, held for inspection, etc.
  • Appropriately solve warehouse issues and enforce new processes when necessary.


Requirements/Education/Experience


  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Possesses excellent time management skills .
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience supervising work flow and needs of facility.
  • Works well with minimal supervision .
  • Able to lift 50 + pounds & occasionally 100 pounds.
  • Positive demeanor that allows for strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Able to directly supervise warehouse staff of 3-4 employees .
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain warehouse facility equipment and supplies.
