Shipping Manager Jobs

Overview:

We are world’s leading biology research service company, and our business is growing. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shipping Manager to join our team. As a Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis on delivery delays, damage in transit, meet KPI and customer satisfaction
• Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle to ensure PO’s are scheduled timely for inbound receipt and carriers are dispatched on time and all orders are sorted and delivered accurately based on their ship method.
• Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
• Manage all aspects of transportation including inbound logistics, internal transfers, and outbound shipping.
• Determine key logistics KPIs
• Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions for process improvements
• Control budget of the shipping department
• Train and evaluate others
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Plan and manage projects and new shipping strategies
• Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

Qualifications:

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents
• 5+ years of experience as a Shipping Managers or Experience in international shipping via Air both Export and Import
• Critical thinker and problem solving skills
• Hands on experience in budgeting and reporting
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• BA in supply chain, logistics or similar relevant field
• Good leadership skills
