We provide opportunities to work across our national network. dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Dispatcher to join our Boston team supporting the Logan Airport. Responsibilities include attend dispatch phone, send/receive fax and emails, in a timely manner.

  • Capture all working hours and control timekeeping and provide respective time adjustment sheets to HR and Transportation Manager.
  • Forward daily flight catering status (flight for number of PAX prepared) to KL.
  • Attend dispatch phone, send/receive fax and emails, in a timely manner.
  • Process all customer information during shift and update all departments concerned as needed.
  • Being a communication link between field operation and catering building.
  • Assist Transportation Manager as needed.
  • Assist the Commercial department with menu specs and other tasks as per prior assignment.
  • Write daily shift report (as per template provided by Transportation Manager) and email to Transportation Manager and General Manager.
  • Ensure proper shift closing with all tasks completed.
  • Build all cargo flights during shift.
  • Responsible for communicating and overseeing last-minute requests to all departments concerned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Print labels and boarding bills for flight departures as needed to have all production information ready for pick up at dispatch for all departments concerned HOT/COLD FOOD, EQ/BEV, etc.
  • Report and document any vehicle fleet, building, building access system, building security, accident issues, or other abnormality, that was brought to his/her attention via email to the Transportation / Maintenance Manager.
  • Print labels and boarding bills for flight departures during shift and next shifts as needed.


The salary for this position is $23.22 hourly with weekly pay, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and Holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Intellectual/Social demands


While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.


Physical demands


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
