Responsible for operating and maintaining terminal and product stored on site using established procedures. Performs tank gauging, sample gathering, testing and routine maintenance. Oversees product receiving, truck loading and upkeep of terminal facility.

  • INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE MULTIPLE JOB DUTIES SIMULTANEOUSLY WHILE WORKING ALONE.
  • INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE INCLUDING OVERTIME, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS AND MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO BE ON CALL FOR SPECIFIED TIME PERIODS.
  • MUST POSSESS VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB STORAGE TANK STAIRS UP TO 60 FEET.
  • INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH LIMITED SUPERVISION.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AT LEAST 50 LBS.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS


The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card.

  • Record meter readings.
  • Enter data into automation system.
  • Interface with and monitor contractors.
  • Act as person in charge (PIC).
  • Prepare declaration of inspections and declarations of security.
  • Complete all checklist as required.
  • Inspect seals at rack; log and repair as required.
  • Complete required inspections and checklist.
  • Inspect fire extinguishers monthly.
  • Calculate tank inventories.
  • Perform custodial duties.
  • Open and close valves.

  • SUPERVISE TRUCK LOADING OPERATIONS
  • Inspect and monitor lines and hoses during transfer.
  • PERFORM ROUTINE PLANT MAINTENANCE
  • Drain water from tanks.
  • Make hose connections from dock to vessel.
  • Interface with inspectors.
  • Product blending.
  • OPERATE FACILITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FACILITY SECURITY, SPCC PLAN AND USCG OPERATIONS MANUAL
  • Assist in tie up of vessel.
  • Monitor tank levels.
  • Repair automation equipment.
  • TEST & INSPECT EQUIPMENT
  • Take product samples/run tests.
  • Inspect transports.
  • Issue driver cards.

  • Maintain and keep organized terminal buildings and grounds.
  • Reconcile daily close outs.
  • MARINE DOCK OPERATIONS & PRODUCT RECEIPTS
  • ROUTINE OPERATIONS
  • Align piping and valves.
  • Skim separators.
  • Gauge vessel and calculate inventory.
  • Inspect and test firewater pump and foam system.
  • Receive additive.
  • Conduct security screening and checks.
  • Maintain driver/trailer files.
  • Offload trucks.
  • Coordinate with delivery company – communicate.
  • Gauge vessels.
  • Care for grass/landscaping.
  • Calculate opening and closing quantities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunction.
  • Repair and inspect rack equipment.
  • Product tank transfers.
  • Inspect/Log VRU/VCU.
  • Train drivers on use of rack equipment and procedures.
  • Grease valves/oil pumps.
  • Repair and calibrate tank gauging.
  • Daily meter readings.
  • Visually verify valve position.
  • Gauge tanks/temperatures.
