We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Galena Park, TX,

The Dispatcher will be responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports Depot and Terminal Operations. The position will work with the Customer, Depot Managers and other operational center personnel to make proactive recommendations and adjustments to facilitate the operation.

Responsibilities:

Dispatcher

• Develops daily dispatch plans, manage truck capacity needs
• Ensure all drivers are operating in a safe and efficient manner
• Work as a liaison between our customer and the driver
• Works one on one with location drivers
• Must maintain accurate records and paperwork
• Assure timely billing of invoices by accurately entering billing information in TMS system

Qualifications:

• This position may require to work outside of normal business hours when required, including some holidays and maybe weekends
• Dispatch experience with Company Drivers and Owner Operators
• Strong organization and multi-task skills
• Intermodal experience a plus
• Must be familiar with dispatch, TMS and MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Must have exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through ability
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of State and Federal DOT regulations
• Electronic dispatch experience preferred
