We are seeking temporary front of house staff to join KOOZA, a Cirque du Soleil production, for Denver, CO. We strive to create an environment unlike any other entertainment event world-wide. YOUR MISSION
Primary Responsibilities
  • Keep floors clean by sweeping, brushing, and mopping at all times, especially at the end of theshift;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the entire kitchen and cateringarea;
  • Collecting and disposal of all garbage, compost, and recycling bins into thedumpsters;
  • Assist chefs and cooks in receiving and putting away deliveries;
  • Wash, dry, and fold kitchenlaundry;
  • Wash a large volume of dishes, crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans andputthemawayinaclean,safe,and orderly manner. Always maintain a clean and tidy dishpit;
  • Participate in the teardown and set up of thekitchen;
  • Complete assigned cleaning projectsdaily.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigerationequipment;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and takedirection;
  • Reasonable knowledge of English and the language of theMarket.
  • Motivated team player with good initiative and problem-solving abilities;
  • Possession of a Cooking degree is anasset;
  • Does not need to have specific dishwashing experience but must be willing to do all the work required and perform thempromptly;
  • Physically able, highly motivated, and willing to be trained. This position is physically demanding. Lifting 40-pound (5-gallon) water jugs, as well as heavy vegetable boxes, are part of the dailyroutine;
  • AssistinotherareasasneededandassignedbyanotherCirque Kitchen Manager and HeadChef;
  • Minimum experience of 6 monthsfull-time working in a professional kitchen (busy restaurant and busy catering preferred). This is not a customer servicerole;
  • Availabletowork5daysaweek,includingweekends,earlymornings, and late nights during the entire cityrun.
