We are looking for a great collaborator who is excited at the prospect of working closely with a team to provide dedicated support and exceptional customer service to business partners and clients. Account Coordinators are responsible for managing disability claims, which includes maintaining trusted relationships with disability insurance carriers and disabled individuals who need Brown & Brown’s assistance applying for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits.
Just like no two SSDI applicants have the same story about how they came to be sick or injured, all disability claims are unique. In addition to providing excellent service over the phone, Account Coordinators must be prepared to find innovative solutions to the tough challenges that can arise when processing complex claims, all while balancing the needs of the individual client or customer. The Account Services team’s ability to provide timely and accurate claim updates to all invested parties drives key metrics for the rest of the organization.

Other Essentials.
  • Experience with disability insurance or LTD leave preferred
  • Customer Relations/Insurance Claim management experience preferred
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
  • BS, equivalent, or minimum of 1-2 years relative work experience preferred
