Job Title
Director, Talent Management
Overview:
This role will be part of the Global Talent and Organizational Effectiveness team which is collectively responsible for developing and executing an integrated talent, leadership, culture, engagement, and organizational strategy in support of our business goals. This team will ensure right talent, skills, and supporting capabilities are in place to enable evolving Mastercard’s continued success.
This role will follow a hybrid working pattern from our office location in Purchase, New York (full remote working is not being offered for this role).
Role:
The Director of Talent Management will report into the SVP, Global Head of Talent Management, and will work in partnership with the business and the broader talent management team to provide thought leadership around the design, launch and delivery of such Talent Management solutions:
  • Career Management/Progression/ Pathing.
  • Talent Brokering.
  • Performance Management & Employee Development.
  • Talent Planning & Succession Planning Practices.
  • Other talent solutions to assure we have the talent and leadership we need for the future and in support of our strategy.
  • Talent Assessment.
  • Talent Pool Management.

All About You:
You bring the following experience and background
  • Proven track record of re-imagining talent practices that have delivered tangible results
  • Proven track-record around bringing ideas from creation to execution
  • Advanced degree in I/O Psychology, or Human Resources preferred, with extensive prior experience in talent management.
  • Broad-based HR background – ideally having spent time in a HRBP role and/or Talent Management Partner role
  • Ability to get things done through other people and have strong influencing, networking and collaboration skills

  • Technically grounded –demonstrate and looked upon for expertise - balancing being an innovator & pragmatist
  • Business focused – you understand business and talent implications.
