Job Description

Director of Service - North America


Position Overview:

As the Director of Service - North America, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our service operations throughout the region. You will lead a team of service managers and professionals in delivering exceptional customer service, timely repairs, and effective technical support. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize service efficiency, maximize customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

·Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing service team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·Develop and implement service strategies, policies, and procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations and business objectives.

·Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying their needs and ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

·Manage customer escalations and coordinate resources to resolve the issue in a timely manner.

·Manage the service budget, forecasting resource requirements, and ensuring cost-effective service delivery.

·Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support new product launches, providing technical expertise and ensuring seamless integration of service offerings.

·Monitor service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

·Drive a strong safety culture within the service organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

·Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements, incorporating relevant changes into service processes and offerings.

·Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship to the service team, and identify training needs to enhance technical skills.

·Drive a strong safety culture within the service organization, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

·Proven experience (10+ years) in managing service operations, preferably in the renewable energy or power electronics industry.

·Project engineering and EPC experiences are welcomed.

·Strong technical background in photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems.

·Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving organizational goals.

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

·Sound business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

·Proven experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance service delivery.

·Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

·Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.

·Ability to travel as required.
