Job Description
Job Title Director, Sales Operations – PPD Commercial Sales


Division: Professional Products Division


Location: Hudson Yards, NY


Reports To: Vice President, Sales Administration


What You Will Do


This role will play an integral part in the planning and execution of the PPD Commercial Sales Administration strategy. Sales Administration is the vital link between the internal brand field sales team, our distribution partner, SalonCentric (SC), and the marketing teams to ensure that the right resources are being deployed and budgets are in place to support the forecast. The Director will aid the Vice President in the planning and implementation of PPD the sales programs and drivers and serve as the Vice President’s second in command and serve as a decision maker in their absence. This role as will own the monthly sales forecast for the 7 PPD Brands. In addition, this role will support in the trend process for the 7 PPD Brands and is accountable for the timely execution of this process. The Director will play a role in ways of working analysis in partnership with the Vice President. The position requires a high degree of collaboration and communication with cross functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, SalonCentric, Demand Planning and Management.


PPD Brands include REDKEN, Matrix, L’Oreal Pre4fessionnel, Pulp Riot, Mizani, Pureology and Biolage.


Key Responsibilities


  • Top Salon (Black Level) Reporting
  • Lead w/Business Analysis & DP to create Consistent Brand Reporting
  • Forecast and Trend Management ($900M)
  • PPD Sampling Program Management
  • Point person for Brand Sales Program PO set up
  • Internal Brand Field Sales Teams Bonus Program
  • Management of PPD Rebate Programs
  • Sales Driver Fuel, PDA and Capex Budget Management ($3M)


What We Are Looking For


  • Ability to project manage

  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Planning
  • Adaptable/flexible in changing environment
  • Strong & effective business communication- written and oral skills
  • Advanced computer skills (excel and Power-point)
  • 4-year College degree/professional experience
