Orchard is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to be responsible for sales process creation and optimization, business intelligence and reporting, strategic planning, sales compensation/incentives and to serve as the key stakeholder across tooling enhancements and implementations. This person will be part of Orchard's senior leadership team collaborating across sales, FP&A, marketing, product, field operations and underwriting/investments


This is a full time role that will report into the Head of Real Estate and will be based in Austin or NYC.


What You’ll Do Here


  • Lead change management for new products and initiatives.
  • Be a master prioritizer and an agent of change: recommend which initiatives to prioritize based on business impact, and break through walls to ensure they are rolled out smoothly across the Sales org
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to develop and track all performance KPIs and extract key insights that will deliver against company performance standards and objectives.
  • Ensure consistency across all procedures with a passion for quality control.
  • Manage the growing Sales Operations team
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves to project manage key initiatives personally
  • Be responsible for management and creation of all standard operating procedures across the sales organization.
  • Serve as the key sales stakeholder for all product iterations and technology implementations.


We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:


  • At least 7+ years professional experience in sales operations, operations or program management. Preference for experience working at a tech or real estate company
  • Adept with technology and experienced with analytics and reporting tooling
  • Deep understanding of the principles and levers that drive effective sales organizations
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • High energy and action-oriented with a history of getting things done quickly
  • Strong analytical capabilities and adept at solving complex problems
  • An entrepreneur who sees ambiguity as opportunity, and obstacles as chances to build new solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment across people at various levels and functions, including verbal and written communication with an eagerness to collaborate
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with evolving priorities


The pay range for this position in New York City is $165,000-$185,000/year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the range provided depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the New York City Human Rights Law. Please note that the range provided is applicable only to New York City-based applicants. Base compensation may vary if the work location is outside of New York City.
