Director, Program Management Jobs

Description

In this role, you will report to the Chief Operations Officer.

You will be responsible for driving, planning, and the execution of program development plans (early phase product development and late-stage clinical development) with development teams and providing support to technical operations, clinical, and regulatory activities, with a specific focus on guiding the team through the NDA process, including weaving together input from all the functional areas to result in a strong final submission.

You will work closely with the project teams, functional/technical/scientific leads, and the leadership team to ensure project plans and objectives are clearly established, documented, and communicated.

Additionally, you will support the organization of functional and cross-functional activities to support the establishment of common practices, when necessary.

This role requires you to think pragmatically and to be flexible in your applications of solutions to different problems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration and coordination across functions to facilitate the planning process, establishment of goals, milestones & deliverables, and creation & maintenance of comprehensive timelines.

• Drive cross-functional project teams deliver against the project plans within budget and timelines.

• Enable proactive communication, in collaboration with functional leads and managers, to ensure integration of project, company, and operational goals towards achieving project milestones and timetables.

• Provide risk evaluation support and actively monitor and manage program issues and risks by working with the project teams to identify and track risks and resolve/escalate issues to the Functional Leads and Leadership team.

• Act as a key contact for meeting planning and execution and draft and ensure the timely distribution of agendas and meeting minutes and continuous tracking of action items.

• Build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• If needed, provide support to cross-functional teams functional/department teams to ensure the completion of projects on schedule and within budget and scope.

• Apply best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects and establish consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
