About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Director, People Business Partner who will partner with our Research organization as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leading talent, workforce planning, performance and culture best practice for a global organization with end-to-end ownership of HR initiatives for a target population of colleagues.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage the successful implementation of People initiatives including engagement and culture, inclusion, performance, compensation and talent practices and drive adoption and execution in the business to enhance the colleague experience.
  • Identify high potential/critical talent and support succession planning to enable business leaders to develop a pipeline of capable colleagues and leaders.
  • Broker support from Shared Services (People Service Center, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to resolve human resource issues.
  • Support and guide other People organization colleagues, share best practices and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide analytics, insights and actions related to workforce composition and performance.
  • Lead organization design for effectiveness providing leadership and planning support during major business changes, including M&A integration.
  • Act as business advisor and coach for managers regarding their own leadership effectiveness, talent challenges, team effectiveness and business challenges.
  • Build trust and credibility with colleagues in a low-touch context.
  • Align the People strategy with our business strategy and shape the development of strategies to engage, grow and retain talent.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Effective coach to help managers through complex issues with the ability to make recommendations to resolve problems or issues
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Prior work experience as a global People Business partner
  • Proven client management and business literacy skills
  • Proven ability to effectively coach business leaders through complex issues
  • Experience with developing and analyzing People metrics
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of People principles & practices across multiple countries and cultures
  • Proven acuity in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize tasks
