The Director, Partner Experience sets strategies and oversees all the initiatives that engage, promote, and grow our Brother Channel partners in the Commercial ecosystem while enhancing the Partner Relationship Platform as an easy and rewarding experience. The Director is responsible for amplifying Brother’s presence and securing sales growth by type of channel based on the Commercial strategy. This role collaborates with the salespeople of the BMG Commercial Sales Group, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, and all the shared services team in the organization. It evaluates and design current programs and incentives with the sales groups and define the strategy for the future of the partner portal and the education platform. Additionally, the Director will coach, mentor, and lead a group of 4 people.
This role is field-based and should expect to travel up to 50% of the time in role. Successful candidates will be based in the US in a commutable distance from transportation to accounts nationwide.
Duties & Responsibilities
Channel Marketing Strategy
  • Ideate and execute Channel Marketing strategies based on channel, portfolio, and investment criticality in partnership with the Sales and Product Marketing teams
  • Partner with the Customer Experience (CxC) and Product Marketing teams to ensure that Social Media initiatives, Marketing Communication campaigns, and assets for the Channels partners are developed according to the strategies
  • Launch consistent co-branding and content syndication collaterals by type of channels
  • Develop a Brother for Business Excellence Center initiative that, through a Liquid Learning methodology, provides training and engagement to our partners and their salesforce with the appropriate certification and rewards
  • Maximize Brother for Business’s presence in Channel partners’ websites, catalogs, and any other sales platform they use
  • Define the support of Channel partner events and maximize the investment
Channel Programs and Platforms
  • Lead the definition of the Brother Partner ecosystem, partner personas, and partner journey to secure adoption and loyalty
  • Owns the functionality and the best-in-class channel experience using our platform tool (PATH) for ordering, incentives, pricing, bids, and education, among others
  • Manage the Partner Portal, the appealing content, the easy navigation, and reports the analytics as partners’ insights for future improvements and other marketing and sales actions
Leadership and Team Management
  • Motivate the team and peers by being a role model that drives changes and celebrates achievements
  • Train, mentor, and coach the team to perform and achieve the Channel Marketing goals and metrics
  • Influence others through communication and collaboration with an enthusiastic approach, resilience, and the agility to correct direction if necessary
  • Support the team’s development and become the reference for the Channel using the most updated tools and platforms in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Partner Management Software, Data Analytics, and Event /Industry/Channel shows, among others
Reporting And Other Duties
  • Develop and deliver presentations for various internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for various internal groups
  • Partner with the Commercial Sales team to assist key customers/channels QBRs and events
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferably)
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in channel marketing, marketing, and/or marketing communications; multichannel responsibilities and omnichannel strategies; leading and managing a team
  • 3+ years of experience in the office supplies, software, or consumer electronics industry (Preferred)
Software/Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Partner Relationship Management (PRM)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
